Following are scheduled court appearances for murder cases. This information is current as of Friday, Feb. 25 at 12:30 p.m. and will be re-verified throughout the week. Thursday

Updated Derrell Bennett and Reginald Vance in courtroom 310 (Judge Lynn Leibovitz for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Keith Banks, was shot to death Nov. 12, 2010. Vance is represented by attorneys Eugene Ohm and Stephen Cooper. Bennett is represented by attorney Daniel Quillin. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Friday

Larnell Allen and Kwan Kearney in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Joseph Alonzo Sharps Jr, was shot to death Nov. 8, 2010. Allen is represented by attorney Lauren Bernstein. Kearney is represented by attorney John Briley. Jeremy Risper and Kwan Kearney in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Jamal Wilson, was shot to death Nov. 14, 2010. Risper is represented by attorney Dana Page. Kearney is represented by attorney Gene Johnson. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Charging documents in the case are here.

Robert Carter in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Angel Morse, was shot to death Oct. 29, 2010. Rickey Parr in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Angelo Jones, was shot to death Oct. 2, 2010. Pharr is represented by attorney Larry Kupers. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Charging documents in the case are here.

Laurence Hassan and Cinthya Proctor in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a preliminary hearing in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Latisha Frazier, is believed to have been assaulted Aug 2, 2010. Hassan is represented by attorney Daniel Harn. Proctor is represented by attorney Daniel Quillin. Three of Hassan and Proctor’s four other co-defendants in the case, Brian Gaither, Anneka Nelson and Johnnie Sweets are also due in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a status conference. Gaither is represented by attorney Eugene Ohm. Nelson is represented by attorney Richard Finci. Sweets is represented by attorney James Rudasill. That hearing is also scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
