In Brief:

Ricardo Mandrell Lancaster of Fort Washington, MD. was killed in a shooting that took place in Southeast DC Thursday morning.

MPD released a video of a “person if interest” connected to a fatal stabbing that occurred in the 400 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest on May 1. The stabbing killed 33-year-old Dwayne Edward Brisbon.

Ronnell James was sentenced to 32 years in prison for the stabbing death of Robert Beidleman Jr.

In a three day preliminary hearing, Judge Thomas Motley found probable cause in the case against Alex Cater, accused in the New Year’s Eve stabbing death of Leroy Studevant. Cater was ordered held on the charge.

Jamar Delante George, a 25-year-old Northeast DC man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the May 2011 shooting death of Ronnie Speight Jr. He is suspected of first degree murder.

Alexander Gomez-Enamorado, a 22-year-old Port Republic, Md. man, was arrested Thursday in connection with a 2010 homicide in Northwest DC. Police say he stabbed 54-year-old Miguel Ventura of Lanham, Maryland on Nov. 8, 2010 killing him.

Reginald Green pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter while armed in the stabbing death of Alfonza Flythe at what was supposed to be his preliminary hearing on Friday.
