Persons Sought in Connection With the Murder of Wayne Young

DC Metropolitan Police have released a surveillance video of three people wanted in connection with the September shooting death of Wayne Young.

The video shows three men, one wearing white, one wearing grey, and one wearing black, approaching a white car parked on the side of the road. The man dressed in a white shirt approaches the drivers side and leans in the window, then appears to try to open the rear drivers-side door. When it doesn’t open, the three men walk away.

Young, 57, was killed in a double shooting on H Street Northeast Sept. 25. The second victim survived.

Persons of Interest Sought in a Homicide: 5000 Block of H Street, NE

(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the persons of interest, shown in the below video link, in connection with a double shooting which resulted in a homicide in the 5000 block of H Street, NE.

On Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at approximately 11:12 pm, units from the Sixth District responded to the rear of the 5000 block of H Street, NE, for the report of gunshots. Upon arrival, they located two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the scene and transported both victims to local hospitals. One of the victims succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The decedent is identified as 57 year-old Wayne Young of Northeast, Washington, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
