NW DC Man Arrested in Shooting Death of Andre Wilson

Twenty-two-year-old Ahmad Robertson-Bey of Northwest, DC was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of second-degree murder while armed in connection with the shooting death of Andre Wilson.

On June 6, Wilson was found in the 1100 block of 1st Place Northwest around 3:30 a.m. suffering from gunshot wounds; he later died at a local hospital.

Arrest Made in Homicide: 1100 Block of 1st Place, NW

(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in the fatal shooting which occurred in the 1100 block of 1st Place, Northwest.

On Thursday, June 6, 2013 at approximately 3:47 am, patrol officers from the First District responded to the 1100 block of 1st Place, Northwest for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported both shooting victims to a local hospital. The first shooting victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The second shooting victim was treated and released.

The decedent is identified as 26 year-old Andre Wilson of Northwest, Washington, DC.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at approximately 8:15 am, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 22 year-old Ahmad Robertson-Bey of Northwest, Washington, D.C. He was charged with Murder Two while Armed in the shooting death of Andre Wilson.
