On Monday,
Defense attorneys will begin presenting their case in case in the trial charging David and Montez Warren with the May 2011 shooting death of Ervin Lamont Griffin.
Defense attorneys in the case charging Keir Johnson and Lester Williams with the shooting death of 21-year-old Jamal Coates will begin their closing arguments.
On Wednesday,
Cydrisse Alvin is scheduled for sentencing with Judge Ronna Beck for the stabbing death of 28-year-old Amber Lynette Kent. Jurors deliberated for two days before announcing their verdict that Alvin was guilty of felony murder.
Kevin McDarin Johnson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Rhonda Winston in connection with the strangulation death of Detra Martin. Charging documents indicate that Johnson and Martin were in a relationship, and that the two had a verbal altercation days before Martin died.
James Sandidge is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Sandidge is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the October 2011 shooting death of Keenan Jerel Lee. This will be Sandidge’s second trial; jurors were unable to deliver a verdict in his first trial.
Mauda’Rico Proctor is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Robert Morin. Proctor is being held in connection with the shooting death of 27-year-old Dominic Anthony Davis; he awaits a formal indictment in the case.
On Thursday,
Dianna Lalchan is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Rhonda Winston. A plea offer extended to Lalchan from the government will expire at this hearing. Lalchan is charged with first-degree premeditated murder while armed and possession of a firearm during a crime of violence in connection with the shooting death of her husband Christopher Lalchan in March 2013.
Kevin Brown is scheduled to be arraigned before Judge Rhonda Winston. Brown is suspected in the shooting death of 19-year-old James Edward Dean. He has been held since June 2013 without a formal indictment.
Stefon Kirkpatrick is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Rhonda Winston. Kirkpatrick is suspected stabbing and killing his 22-year-old girlfriend, Julisa Brittney Washington.
On Friday,
Deonte Bryant and Terrence Bush are scheduled for sentencing at 11:30 a.m. with Judge John Ramsey Johnson for the shooting death of 43-year-old Robert Foster Jr. Jurors found that Bush and Bryant were each was guilty all their charged offenses, including first-degree murder and assault.
Stephanie Lawson is scheduled to be sentenced at 12:00 p.m. by Judge Rhonda Winston. Lawson, 44, pleaded guilty in February to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of 49-year-old Karen Jordan.
Andre Burks is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 11:00 a.m. before Judge Rhonda Winston. Burks, 26, is suspected of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Antwan Boseman. He is serving a sentence for a robbery charge until July 2015.
