Week Ahead

Each week, Homicide Watch brings you a list of upcoming hearings in the cases we follow. All hearings are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted. To add an item to the listing, email homicidewatchdc [at] gmail.com. To see scheduled court hearings beyond next week, see our calendar.

On Monday,
Jurors will continue deliberating the case against Arik Sims, charged with first-degree murder and three other charges in the death of Lamar Fonville.

On Thursday,
Justin Wilson is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Wilson is charged with the first-degree murder while armed, assault with intent to kill and three other weapon charges in connection with the death of Freddy Bernard Hawkins.

On Friday,
Calvin Shaw is scheduled to be sentenced at 11:30 a.m. before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Jurors convicted him of first-degree premeditated murder while armed and related assault and weapon charges in the death of 19-year-old Crevontai Key on July 4, 2012.

David Warren is scheduled to be sentenced at 11:00 a.m. before Judge Rhonda Winston. In March, jurors found Warren guilty of 12 charges, including charges of first- and second-degree murder in connection with the death of Ervin Lamont Griffin.

Dion Redwood is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Rhonda Winston. Redwood is suspected of first-degree murder in connection with the death of 16-year-old Darius Cannon.

Don Page is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Rhonda Winston. He is charged with first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and two related weapons charges in connection with the death of Quentin Lavar White.

James Robinson is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Jennifer Anderson. He is suspected of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Jason Alexander Murphy.

Khari Williams is scheduled to be sentenced at 11:30 a.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. Williams pleaded guilty on April 18 to voluntary manslaughter while armed in the December 2012 shooting death of Angelo Payne.

Michael Marshall is scheduled to be sentenced at 11:15 a.m. before Judge Rhonda Winston. He pleaded guilty in April to second-degree murder while armed in connection with the shooting death of Antonio Headspeth.

Stephanie Lawson is scheduled for an after sentencing hearing before Judge Rhonda Winston. She was sentenced to 33 months in prison in connection with the stabbing death of Karen Jordan.
