Southeast DC Man Arrested in Stabbing Death of Elike Rahmon Richardson

A 28-year-old DC man has been arrested in connection with the May stabbing death of Elike Rahmon Richardson in Southeast DC, MPD said Thursday evening.

The man, identified as Allen Thomas, of Southeast DC, is suspected of second-degree murder while armed.

Richardson was found stabbed shortly after 9 pm. on May 13 in the 4400 block of C Street Southeast.

Arrest Made in Homicide: 4400 Block of C Street, Southeast

(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in the homicide which occurred in the 4400 block of C Street, Southeast.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at approximately 9:10 pm, police officers from the Sixth District responded to a call for the report of an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from apparent stab wounds. The decedent was subsequently transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia where an autopsy was performed. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia ruled the death to be a homicide and the manner by cause of multiple sharp force injuries.

The decedent has been identified as 36-year-old Elike Rahmon Richardson of Southeast, Washington, DC.

On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, 28 year-old Allen Thomas of Southeast, Washington, DC, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed in connection to the homicide of Elike Rahmon Richardson.
