Upon arrival, they located an adult male in the rear of the 5500 block of 3rd Street, NE unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from apparent blunt force trauma. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined the victim had no signs of life. The victim was pronounced dead by a member of the Office of Chief Medical Examiner. The man's body showed blunt force trauma, Hill said.</p> <blockquote><p>At approximately 8 am, MPD received a call that there was a person lying unconscious in the rear of the 200 block of Riggs Road, NE. Fourth District units responded to the location and discovered an adult male, approximately 40 years of age, lying on the ground, deceased. He had obvious blunt force trauma on his upper body. As of this moment this person has not been identified.
