Upon their arrival, they located an adult male lying on the ground. DC Fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was admitted for treatment. On Wednesday, July 2, 2014, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.</p> <p>The decedent has been identified as 57 year-old Michael Hrizuk of Arlington, Virginia.</p> <p>The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has determined the cause to be blunt impact head injury and the manner of death is homicide.</p> <p>The investigation is continuing.</p> <p>The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
