NW on Sunday Oct. 3. Moss-Cornish, 22 years old, lived in Silver Spring, Md. and was an interpreter and waiter at Austin Grill. He spoke Spanish and Portuguese fluently, according to his <a href="http://www.delmarvanow.com/article/20101007/OBITUARIES/10070370/Michael-Manuel-Magic-Moss-Cornish">obituary</a>.</p> <p>Metro Police released an <a href="http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;cd=6&amp;ved=0CDIQFjAF&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fmpdc.dc.gov%2Fmpdc%2Flib%2Fmpdc%2Fserv%2Fsolvers%2Funsolved%2Fpdf%2F2010%2Fmoss-cornish_michael.pdf&amp;rct=j&amp;q=Michael%20Manuel%20Moss-Cornish%20arrest&amp;ei=_-DBTMuDCIWclgeVkdiZCg&amp;usg=AFQjCNH3blnyw9VBcWySj7YU2nYlNY5_3Q&amp;sig2=P5IBZWj7lDanhioCox0r8w&amp;cad=rja">informational poster</a>, seeking tips and community assistance in closing Moss-Cornish's case.</p> <p>According to a <a href="http://newsroom.dc.gov/show.aspx/agency/mpdc/section/2/release/20578/year/2010">Metro press release</a>, Moss-Cornish and another victim, who has not been identified, were found with gunshot wounds by police who were responding to a call reporting gunshots.  Both victims taken to local hospitals. Moss-Cornish was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital; the second victim was treated and released.</p> <p>No arrests have been made.</p> <p>Moss-Cornish moved to Silver Spring about a year ago from Fruitland, Md, where he grew up. He graduated from James M. Bennett High School in 2006. While a student there, he played on the school's soccer team, according to his obituary.</p> <p>His mother, Bobbie Ballard, told the <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/10/03/AR2010100305047.html">Washington Post</a> that the shooting occurred as he left a party near Howard University.</p> <p>A <a href="http://www.hs.facebook.com/pages/RIP-Mike-Cornish-aka-Tino/131050866945033#!/pages/RIP-Mike-Cornish-aka-Tino/131050866945033?v=wall">Facebook memorial page</a> has attracted almost 200 of Moss-Cornish's friends , many of whom have left messages in remembrance.
