Below is a map of homicides this week.


Three people were killed this week in three separate incidents over the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Shortly after midnight Saturday, 18-year-old Mico Briscoe was fatally shot in Trinidad.

At about 10 that same morning, Joseph Jerome Mickens was shot near an alley in the 700 block of 19th St NE. He was 22 years old.

Early Sunday morning, three people were stabbed and three were shot at or near a club party in Dupont Circle. One person was reported to have died from their injuries

In Court News:

Ray Dicks was ordered held in Eric Kearney’s death, despite arguments that a witness’ identification of Dicks was problematic and that Dicks had an alibi for the night Kearney was killed.
