Mauda’Rico Proctor arrested in death of Dominic Davis

Mauda’Rico Proctor was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony murder in the January shooting death of Dominic Davis.

Davis, 27, was found unconscious with gunshot wounds in the 500 block of 57th Street Northeast. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Homicide Arrest: 500 Block of 57th Street, Northeast

(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest in a fatal shooting which occurred in the 500 block of 57th Street, NE.

On Monday, January 14, 2013, at approximately 10:43 am, officers responded to the 500 block of 57th Street, NE for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located an adult male lying on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The decedent is identified as 27-year-old Dominic Anthony Davis of Washington, DC.

On Monday, June 10, 2013, at approximately 10:40 am, 22 year-old Mauda’Rico Proctor of Southeast, Washington, DC, was charged with Felony Murder pursuant to a District of Columbia Superior Court warrant in connection with the shooting death of Dominic Anthony Davis.
