Twenty-one year old Ashley McCrae died Saturday Sept. 18 at George Washington University Hospital after being found shot in a vehicle in Southeast D.C. early Saturday morning, Metro Police are reporting.
The Washington Post identified the woman as Ashley McRae, a DeVry University student. MyFoxDC is reporting that Metro Police are searching for a person of interest in McCrae’s death. According to the report, McRae “was last seen by her sister leaving the Ibiza nightclub on First Street in Northeast with a man she’s known for about a month or two.” It is not clear if that man is the person considered of interest to the police.
