The Washington Post is reporting that a 29-year old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Northeast D.C.’s Langdon Park.
The victim was identified as Aaron Woodfork.
The homicide occurred at about 3:30 a.m. in Metro Police’s fifth district, which this weekend was also dealing with the murder of grocery store manager Raj Patel.
There were no messages on the Fifth District’s listserve about Woodfork’s death as of Sunday night.
According to the Post, a second man was wounded in the shooting that killed Woodfork. He was taken to a hospital.
