Update Friday 11:30 a.m.: We still haven’t found any information on nine remaining homicide cases.
Metro Police Spokeswoman Gwendolyn Crump said this morning that she would get back to us on Monday.
In the meantime, I put it out to you. Here’s the list of cases Homicide Watch D.C. still hasn’t been able to reconcile. Here’s where they are.
Please help us identify these cases if you can.
A quick update on the 2010 homicide databases: Homicide Watch has been able to reconcile ten homicides listed in city records but which did not appear in press releases on Metro Police’s website.
We have not been able to reconcile an additional nine homicides; those are still highlighted in blue-green on the second sheet of the database. Homicides on that sheet highlighted in gold are the cases Homicide Watch was able to find releases for after Metro Police added them today.
We’ve added those cases to Sheet 1 in the database and highlighted them in gold.
Who are these victims? Calvin Woodland, 18; Irvan Jackson, 68; Reginald Taylor; Franklin Hill, 18; Rodney Turpin, 46; Ronald Johnson, 24; Marquice Ayers, 22; Ja-Kai Wilson, 4 months; and Dominic Dwayne Kingsbury, Jr.,18 months.
