Shawn Davis, a 36-year-old Southeast D.C. man, was charged yesterday with first-degree murder in the December 7 stabbing death of Tawanna Barnes Copeland in her Southwest D.C. apartment.
Davis is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in D.C. Superior Court on Jan. 24. He is being held at D.C. jail.
