Timothy Foreman and Carl Purvis in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a felony status conference in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Gregory Joyner, was shot to death Nov. 15. Foreman is represented by attorney Steven Polin. Purvis is represented by Premal Dharia. Both men’s cases are pending grand jury. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Vernon McRae in courtroom 320 (Judge Gerald Fisher) for a preliminary hearing in a second-degree murder case. The victim, Michael Washington, died of head trauma after being knocked unconscious the night of Oct. 26. McRae is represented by attorney Eugene Ohm. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
