Metro Police have not released the identity of the victim have now identified Pannell as the victim of a triple shooting in Columbia Heights early Saturday night. Friends of Pannell have taken to Facebook and Twitter to share their grief for the Columbia Heights teen.
Ward One Councilman Jim Graham told the Washington Post before 10 p.m. Saturday night that the victim of fatal gunfire in the 3000 block of Sherman Avenue was a female teenager.
This morning, friends of Pannell published a Rest in Paradise Lucki Pannell Facebook page.
According to her Facebook profile, Pannell was a senior at Cardozo Senior High in Columbia Heights.
