MPD announced today that a 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of homicide in the death of Jinnell McQueen in November.
The teen was not identified because he is being charged as a juvenile. A D.C. Courts representative was not immediately available to say when the teen is expected to be charged.

Arrest Made in Homicide in the 1200 Block of Eaton Road, SE
(Washington, DC) — Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced a suspect has been arrested in the homicide of Jinnell McQueen in the 1200 block of Eaton Road, SE.
On Sunday, November 7, 2010, at approximately 12:30 a.m. members of the Seventh District responded to the 1200 block of Eaton Road, SE, to investigate the report of sounds of gunshots and a person down. Upon their arrival, they located the decedent 42-year-old Jinnell McQueen suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined the victim had no signs consistent with life and was left on the scene. Ms. McQueen was later transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and pronounced dead.
