Brandon Miller in courtroom 319 (Judge Thomas Motley) for a preliminary hearing in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Jamal Coates, was shot to death Sept. 28, 2010. Miller is represented by attorney Anthony Matthews. The hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Antoine Taylor in courtroom 320 (Judge Gerald Fisher) for a status hearing in a first-degree murder case. The victim, Joshua Hopkins, was shot to death July 3, 2010. Taylor is represented by attorney Charles Daum. The conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
