MetroWeekly reports that the transgendered victim of a fatal shooting in Northeast DC early this morning was 23-year-old Lashay Mclean of Northeast DC.
McLean was a client of Transgender Health Empowerment and well known to staff there, Metro Weekly reports.
THE’s program director, Brian Watson, told Metro Weekly:
”We haven’t gotten any information from GLLU or anything, that’s why we still don’t know what’s going on. … We don’t know if police have anyone in custody, we don’t know if they got away, we do know that someone was with Shay, but we don’t even know who that was.”
