Man Fatally Shot in Columbia Heights

There are reports this morning that a man was fatally shot in Columbia Heights Tuesday night, but the location of the shooting is unclear.

The following message is on the Third District listserve this morning.

The Third District is working a shooting in the 1400 block of Fairmont St NW.

NBC Washington reports that the man was found shot at University and Euclid and that two male suspects were taken into custody just blocks from there.

The Washington Post reports that the crime scene was in the 2600 block of University Place.

MyFoxDC reports that the crime scene was in the 2600 block of 15th Street.

According to reports, the shooting took place just before 2 a.m.
