A man was reportedly shot and killed Sunday evening in Northeast DC in a busy strip of Minnesota Avenue.
DC Fire and EMS tweeted just after 8 p.m. that a shooting victim found at Clay Street and Minnesota Avenue NE was dead when emergency responders arrived at the scene.
DC Alerts sent out a message about the shooting, asking those nearby to be on the lookout for a black male, approximately 5-8 or 5-9, of medium complexion, with a goatee and tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans, according to the alert.
The victim has not been identified.
