MPD has identified Marcus Parham, 26, as the man found shot to death this morning on the 4500 block of Quarles Street NE.
Parham, a resident of Northeast, was found inside a building shot multiple times. He died after being transported a local hospital. MPD’s statement is below.
Homicide: 4500 Block of Quarles Street, NE
(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating the fatal shooting which occurred in the 4500 block of Quarles Street, NE.
On Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at approximately 8:25 am, Sixth District officers responded to the 4500 block of Quarles Street, NE to investigate the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located an adult male inside of the location that was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 26 year-old Marcus Parham of Northeast, Washington, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
