Marcellus Jackson, Keir Johnson Plead Innocent on 80-Count Indictment

MPD said tonight that 23-year-old Marcellus Jackson has been arrested in connection with the August 2010 shooting death of Sean Robinson.

Jackson was wanted by MPD in connection with an 80-count gang indictment unsealed last month. He was arrested in North Carolina on Dec. 20.

Court records show that he and another man named in the same indictment, Keir Johnson, were arraigned today on the charges against them. They each pleaded innocent.

Arrest in the Fatal Shooting in the 2500 Block of Mozart Place, NW

(Washington)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an additional arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of Sean Robinson.

On Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at approximately 9:17 pm, units from the Third District were dispatched to the 2500 block of Mozart Place, NW, for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located the victim, who was identified as Sean Robinson, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Emergency and Medical Services responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On Friday, August 13, 2010, at 7:45 pm, a suspect was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder while Armed.

On Monday, January 9, 2012, at approximately 7:00 pm, detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch arrested 23 year-old Marcellus Jackson, of Northwest, Washington, DC, and charged him with First Degree Premeditated Murder while Armed in the homicide of 20 year-old Sean Robinson.
