On Friday, Albrecht Muth is expected for a felony status conference with Judge Russell Canan. Muth is suspected of second-degree murder in the death of his wife Viola Herms Drath, the 91-year-old socialite and former journalist. He is scheduled for a jury trial Oct. 9.
Christopher Williams is expected for a preliminary hearing with Judge Ronna Beck. Williams is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Kevin Blackwell Jr.
Rickey Pharr and Curtis Patterson are scheduled for a status hearing with Judge Thomas Motley in the death of Angelo Jones. Pharr has been charged with first-degree murder and Patterson with first-degree murder while armed. Both men have pleaded innocent to the charges, and a trial has been set for Feb. 13.
Marc Tapp is expected for a felony status conference with Judge Beck. Tapp, a Columbia Heights YouTube rapper, is suspected of first-degree murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Jermaine Anderson.
Marvin Palencia is scheduled for a felony status conference and arraignment with Judge William Jackson. Palencia is suspected of first-degree murder in the death of his former co-worker Jacobo Vazquez. A trial is scheduled for Nov. 5.
Stephen Barnes is scheduled for a preliminary hearing with Judge Motley. Barnes is suspected of first-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of Stephon Way.
