On Monday, Marcus McLean is scheduled for a motion hearing with Judge Robert Morin. McLean is charged with felony and first-degree murder while armed in the stabbing death of Delando King, a gay D.C. man. A jury trial is scheduled to begin April 24.
On Tuesday, Patricia Cave is expected for a status hearing with Judge Ronna Beck. Cave is charged with voluntary manslaughter while armed in the stabbing death of her boyfriend Lamont Warren. A trial is scheduled for Feb. 21.
On Thursday, the five men accused in the 2010 South Capitol Street shooting are scheduled to resume a motions hearing with Judge Beck at 10 a.m. Orlando Carter, 21; Robert Bost, 22; Carter Sanquan, 20; Lamar J. Williams, 22; and Jeffrey Best, 22, are charged with murdering Jordan Howe, 20; Brishell Jones, 16; Davaughn Boyd, 18; William Jones, 19; and Tavon Nelson, 17, and shooting nine others. The five men are scheduled for a trial Feb. 13.
On Friday,Kwan Kearney is scheduled for a sentencing hearing. Kearney was found guilty Dec. 9 of first-degree murder while armed, among other charges, in the shooting death of Joseph Alonzo Sharps Jr. Kearney could face 30 years to life on the first-degree murder charge alone.
Chamontae Walker, Meeko Carraway and Corey Yates are scheduled for a status hearing Friday with Judge Motley. The three men are charged with murder well armed in the shooting death of Darrel Hendy. A trial is set for Feb. 21.
Alexis Pineda is expected for a status hearing with Judge Morin Friday. Pineda is charged with first-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of Jose Hernandez-Romero. Pineda is currently scheduled for a trial June 11.
Anthony Hatton, 18, is scheduled for a felony status hearing Friday with Judge Thomas Motley at 10:30 a.m. Hatton is suspected of first-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of 17-year-old Tyrell Fogle. A trial is scheduled for July 23.
Anthony Speight is expected for a status hearing with Judge Ann O’Reagan Keary at 11 a.m. Speight is suspected of felony murder in the shooting death of Bill Mitchell Jr.
Delron Atchison and Vincent Gray are scheduled for a felony status conference Friday with Judge Motley at 11 a.m. Atchison and Gray are suspected of second-degree murder while armed in the fatal shooting of Demetrius Thompson on a Metro bus.
Derrell Bennett and Reginald Vance are expected for a status hearing Friday with Judge Beck. Bennett and Vance are charged with first-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of Keith Banks.
Eugene Antone Kelly is scheduled for a status hearing with Judge Motley at 10 a.m. Kelly is charged with first-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of 15-year-old Isaiah Harris. A trial is scheduled for Aug. 17.
Felicia Jones is scheduled for a felony status conference with Judge William Jackson. Jones is suspected of second-degree murder while armed in the stabbing death of Jodie Ward.
Phillip Crooms is expected Friday for a felony status conference with Judge Beck. Crooms is suspected of felony murder in the death of Delonte Butler. Crooms is suspected of handing suspect Joseph Spinks a bottle of rubbing alcohol to set Butler’s car on fire after Butler was shot.
Rashid Caviness-Bey is scheduled for a felony status conference with Judge Motley Friday at 10:30 a.m. Caviness-Bey is suspected of felony murder in the shooting death of Osman Al-Akbar. A juvenile murder suspect recently told the government that he, not Caviness-Bey, shot and killed Al-Akbar, according to a discovery letter filed at D.C. Superior Court in January.
