A man killed in a shooting in Southeast DC Tuesday night has been identified as 42-year-old George Hardy.

Homicide in the 3300 block of 14th Place, S.E.
(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating the fatal shooting which occurred in the 3300 block of 14th Place, Southeast.
On Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at approximately 11:20 pm, units from the Seventh District responded to the 3300 block of 14th Place, Southeast, to investigate the trouble. Upon their arrival, they located the victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined the victim had no signs of life. The victim was pronounced dead by a member of the Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
The decedent has been identified as 42 year-old George Hardy of Southeast, Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
