A shooting in Northeast DC Monday night has left one man dead, WUSA, WJLA and Fox5 report.
According to WUSA, police found the man at about 11:40 Monday night in the 4700 block of Brooks Streets Northeast. He had been shot in the back. He was taken to a hospital and declared dead.
Investigators believe their suspect is a black or hispanic man, who was last seen wearing a Miami Heat ball cap, black T-shirt, blue jeans, and Nike Foamposite tennis shoes.
The shooting was one of four throughout the District Monday night; no other fatalities have been reported.
