On Wednesday, Chavez Myers is scheduled for a felony status conference with Judge Ronna Beck at 9:30 a.m. Myers, 17, is suspected of stabbing and killing Olijawan Griffin inside the Woodley Park metro station.
Ellsworth Colbert is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing with Judge Thomas Motley at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Colbert is suspected of stabbing and killing Robert Wright in March. Trial is scheduled to begin January 7.
Karl Pugh is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing in front of Judge Motley at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Pugh is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Quentin Ragland. Trial is scheduled to begin January 14.
Rashid Caviness-Bey is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing with Judge Motley at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Caviness-Bey is suspected of robbing and killing Osman Al-Akbar in August 2011. Trial is scheduled to begin January 22.
On Friday, Donzell Butler is expected for a felony status conference in front of Judge William Jackson at 9:30 a.m. Butler is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of Charles Scott Jr.
Grant Johnson is scheduled for a felony status conference with Judge Jackson at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Johnson is charged with felony murder while armed in connection with the shooting death of Ricardo Mandrell Lancaster.
Malik Shabazz is expected for sentencing in front of Judge Jackson at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Shabazz pled guilty last month to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the 2007 fatal beating of Demetrius Dempsey.
Samuel Nelson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing with Judge Robert Morin at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Nelson is charged with second-degree murder while armed in connection with the stabbing death of Darnell Howard.
