SE DC Shooting Victim Identified as Dwayne Antonio Bryant

MPD has identified a man killed in a shooting Friday night in Southeast DC as 22-year-old Dwayne Antonio Bryant.

Homicide: 1900 Block of 13th Street, Southeast

(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting which occurred in the 1900 block of 13th Street, Southeast.

On Friday, March 8, 2013, at approximately 10:02 pm, units from the Seventh District responded to the 1900 block of 13th Street, SE for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The decedent is identified as 22-year-old Dwayne Antonio Bryant of Southeast, Washington, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
