SE DC Shooting Victim Identified as Mikal Alexandar Hudnall

A man killed Friday night in a shooting in Southeast DC has been identified by by police as 24-year-old Mikal Alexandar Hudnall.

A press release from MPD states that Hudnall was shot multiple times and died at the scene of the shooting.

Homicide: 5800 Block of Southern Avenue, Southeast

(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting which occurred in the 5800 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast.

On Friday, April 12, 2013, at approximately 10:18 pm, units from the Sixth District responded to the 5800 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded and did not find any signs consistent with life. The decedent remained on the scene and was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia, pending an autopsy.

The decedent is identified as 24-year-old Mikal Alexandar Hudnall of Southeast, Washington, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
