A 32-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in a fatal shooting, police said Wednesday.
The man, identified as Rahmaan Jamal Ward, of Southeast D.C., was found after being shot multiple times in the 3500 block of 18th Street, Southeast, at about 10:13 p.m.
Ward was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Homicide: 3500 Block of 18th Street, Southeast
(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting which occurred in the 3500 block of 18th Street, Southeast.
On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at approximately 10:13 pm, units from the Seventh District responded to Mississippi Avenue and Stanton Road, Southeast for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located an adult male in the 3500 block of 18th Street, Southeast, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Emergency and Medical Services responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The decedent is identified as 32-year-old Rahmaan Jamal Ward of Southeast, Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
