A 23-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the June shooting death of Quentin Lavar White.
Police said Tuesday evening that the man, identified as Don Demichie Page, Jr, is suspected of first-degree murder.
Page is the second person to be arrested in the case; Wesley Monroe was arrested and ordered held on suspicion of first-degree murder earlier this month.

Additional Arrest Made in Homicide:
3500 Block of East Capitol Street, SE(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced that an additional arrest has been made in the fatal shooting which occurred in the 3500 block of East Capitol Street, SE.
On Saturday, June 22, 2013 at approximately 12:44 am, officers from the Sixth District responded to the 3500 block of East Capitol Street, SE for the report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent is identified as 28 year-old Quentin Lavar White of Southeast, Washington, DC.
On Friday, July 5, 2013, a second suspect was arrested in West Virginia on a Fugitive from Justice charge in connection to the outstanding District of Columbia Superior Court Arrest Warrant and was awaiting extradition to Washington, DC.
On Tuesday, July 16, 2013, members of the Homicide Branch arrested 23-year-old Don Demichie Page, Jr. of Southeast, DC charging him pursuant to an arrest warrant for First Degree Murder for the homicide of Quentin Lavar White.
