On Tuesday, Judge Ronna Beck is expecting Rico Carr and Robert Crowder for a preliminary hearing. Both are held in connection with the 2010 stabbing death of 19-year-old Kelvin Jamal Willis.
Wednesday, David Jamal Wilson is expected for a status hearing with Judge Herbert Dixon. Wilson pleaded innocent last month to charges of second-degree murder while armed and second-degree theft in connection with the stabbing death of his roommate, 68-year-old Howard Venable Jr.
Ercell Overton, held in connection with the June shooting death of 57-year-old Solomon James Okoroh, is expected for a preliminary hearing with Judge Russell Canan.
Thursday, Albrecht Muth is expected for a status hearing with Judge Canan. Muth, 49, is charged with first-degree murder in the 2011 death of his 91-year-old wife, Viola Herms Drath.
Burnis Cole is expected for a felony status conference with Judge Dixon. Cole is charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of 40-year-old Raasheem Jamal Rich.
Friday, Judge Beck is expecting three cases: Davon Holmes is expected for sentencing. Holmes is charged with the Aug. 2011 stabbing death of 24-year-old Marcellus Bailey.
Joshua Andrews is expected for a trial readiness hearing. Andrews was arrested in April 2011 for the shooting death of 17-year-old Darond Lucas in June 2010. His trial is scheduled at the end of the month.
Stephanie Lawson, who plead innocent to a charge of first-degree murder while armed in the stabbing death of 49-year-old Karen Jordan, is expected for a status hearing.
Judge Dixon is expecting two cases: Cedric Spicer is expected for a status hearing. Last month, he plead innocent to first-degree murder and related weapons charges in connection with the February nightclub shooting death of 30-year-old Joseph Hardin.
Jekwan Smith is expected for a status hearing. At the end of last month, jurors in the “21st and Vietnam” murder trial found Smith, charged with the death of Isaiah Sheffield, innocent of first-degree premeditated murder while armed. He can still be convicted of second-degree murder or voluntary manslaughter while armed in connection with Sheffield’s death.
James Brown is expected for a felony status conference with Judge Robert Morin who found probable cause that Brown was involved in the Dec. 2012 shooting death of 22-year-old Darnell Rivers.
Kevin Charles is expected for sentencing with Judge Henry Greene. Charles pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter while armed and conspiracy to commit a crime of violence in connection with the December 2011 shooting death of 36-year-old Steven Curtis Moore.
Kevin Benbow is expected for a felony status conference with Judge William Jackson. Benbow is charged with first-degree murder in the Nov. 2010 shooting death of 42-year-old Jinnell McQueen.
