On Monday,
Lamonte Hill is scheduled for a status hearing at 2:30 p.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. Hill is charged with second-degree murder while armed and a related weapons offense in connection with the June 2012 stabbing and shooting death of Brian Bloomfield.
Prosecutors will continue presenting their case in the trial charging David and Montez Warren with the May 2011 shooting death of Ervin Lamont Griffin.
The trial of Jashua Johnson will continue before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Johnson is charged with first degree murder and several assault and weapons offenses in connection with the July 2012 shooting death of 22-year-old Davon Brown. Police found Brown lying on the sidewalk of the 2300 block of Green Street Southeast; he died on the scene from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Defense attorneys for Keir Johnson and Lester Williams will resume presenting their cases in the trial charging their clients with the shooting death of 21-year-old Jamal Coates.
On Wednesday,
Michael Coleman is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Coleman is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Candance Reed on November 15, 2013.
Raymond Faunteroy is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Faunteroy is charged with first-degree murder while armed and related weapons offenses in connection with the shooting death of Derrick Ragland in December 2011.
On Thursday,
Erik Postell is scheduled for a felony arraignment before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Postell is charged with the shooting death of Paul Aime Tanoh Danzo. Michael Smith was also arrested in connection with Danzo’s death but has since pleaded guilty.
Melvin Linkins is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Linkins has been indicted for the murder of Marc Emilio Dancy after Linkins was released when a judge failed to find probable cause.
On Friday,
Sosefina Amoa is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Robert Morin. Amoa is suspected of killing her newborn child.
Bernard Fleming is scheduled for a status hearing at 12:00 p.m. before Judge Robert Morin. Fleming, 23, is one of three suspects arrested in connection with the shooting death of Michael Jones.
Brandon Miller is scheduled for a status hearing at 3:00 p.m. before Judge Thomas Motley. Miller is awaiting sentencing in connection with the shooting death of Jamal Coates.
Joseph Chandler is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson where his defense is expected to announce whether they will be pursuing an insanity defense. Chandler is accused of shooting and killing 63-year-old Shirley Tucker.
Reynaud Cook is scheduled for a felony status conference at 9:45 a.m. before Judge Robert Morin. Cook is charged with murder and assault charges in connection with the 2012 shooting death of 30-year-old Yolanda Stone.
