A 26-year-old D.C. man was arrested Friday in connection with the shooting death of Andre McIntyre earlier this month.
The man, identified by police as Antonio Williams, is suspected of second-degree murder.
McIntyre was found unconscious on March 1, suffering from apparent head trauma in the 300 block of Ridge Road, Southeast. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Arrest Made in the Homicide: 300 block of Ridge Road, Southeast
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced that an arrest has been made in the homicide which occurred in the 300 block of Ridge Road, Southeast.
On Saturday, March 1, 2014, at approximately 12:20 am, members from the Sixth District responded to a call for the report of an unconscious person in the 300 block of Ridge Road, Southeast. Upon their arrival, members located an adult male suffering from apparent trauma to his head. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending an autopsy.
The decedent has been identified as 46-year-old Andre McIntyre of Northwest, DC.The cause of death was found to be blunt force trauma of the head and neck and the manner was ruled a homicide.
On Friday, March 28, 2014 at approximately 6:45 pm, 26-year-old Antonio Williams of an unknown address, was arrested by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Second Degree Murder in the homicide of Andre McIntyre
