On Monday,
The trial of Andre Miles is scheduled to begin before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. Miles is charged with first-degree murder while armed, possession of a firearm, and carrying a pistol without a license in connection to the 2012 shooting death of Sandy Greene III.

Calvin Shaw‘s trial is scheduled to begin before Robert Morin. He faces 40 charges in connection with the death of 19-year-old Crevontai Key. Police say Shaw was one of three men who approached Key and his friends on July 4 and that he fired a silver handgun at them “without provocation.”

Antonio Williams is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Williams is suspected of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Andre McIntyre earlier this month.

The trial of Joshua Andrews is scheduled to continue before Judge Rhonda Winston with the prosecution’s case. Four months ago, a jury was unable to decide whether Andrews was guilty or innocent of first-degree murder while armed in the 2010 shooting death of Darond Alonte Lucas.

The trial of Daren Vaughn will resume with the defense’s case. Vaughn is charged with premeditated first-degree murder, felony murder, armed robbery and related weapons offenses in connection with the stabbing death of 23-year-old Tyrell Swann.

Prosecutors will continue presenting evidence in Judge John Ramsey Johson’s courtroom for the case of Antoine Little, charged with second-degree murder while armed and carrying a dangerous weapon in connection with the stabbing death of James Eric Cain.

On Thursday,

A second suspect in the case, Michael Smith, has pleaded guilty.

Lillian Alvarado is scheduled for a mental observation hearing at 2:00 p.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. She had been found incompetent for trial in connection with the death of her son. A medical examiner found that the baby was born alive last November, but the baby was later asphyxiated and dismembered in a bathtub.

On Friday,
Anthony Williams, 16, is scheduled for a felony status conference at 10:30 a.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. He is suspected of second-degree murder in the shooting death of 24-year-old James Edward Booker.

Arik Sims is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing at 10:30 a.m. before Judge Robert Morin. Sims is charged with first-degree murder while armed and related weapons offenses in connection with the shooting death of 29-year-old Lamar Michael Fonville. A witness told police that Sims appeared to shoot without provocation.

He is charged with second-degree murder and two related weapons charges in connection with the shooting death of his girlfriend Shirley Tucker.

Roger St John is scheduled for a felony status conference at 10:00 a.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. Charging documents say Gelb was shot and killed in a drug deal gone bad. Police believe St. John drove the shooter away from the scene that night.

Sean Hawkins is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge William Jackson. Hawkins is suspected in the 2011 violent death of Antwain Henderson. Three other suspects in the case, Phillip Glover, Anthony Campbell, and Jermaine Livingston have already been charged in connection with the case.
