On Monday,
The trial of Bernard Fleming and Joseph Peoples is scheduled to begin before Judge Robert Morin. The men are each charged with ten criminal counts in the death of the 2012 shooting death of 30-year-old Michael Edward Jones.
Burnis Cole is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Cole faces two criminal counts in connection with the stabbing death of Raasheem Jamal Rich.
On Friday,
Arik Sims is scheduled for an ascertainment of counsel hearing at 12:00 p.m. before Judge Robert Morin. Sims was convicted of first-degree premeditated murder while armed and three related weapons charges in connection with the shooting death of Lamar Fonville.
Daquan Tinker is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Robert Morin. He is charged with nine criminal counts, including first-degree murder while armed, in connection with the shooting death of Terrence Robinson.
DeAndre Shaheed, Floyd Neal, and Lafeyette Robinson are scheduled for a trial readiness hearing at 3:00 p.m. before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Police believe the men set out to rob someone on the evening of March 14 when they saw Williams walking to his home in the 1000 block of 44th Street Northeast.
Demonta Chappell is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing at 11:00 a.m. before Judge Jennifer Anderson. He is charged with five courts, including first-degree murder while armed, in connection with the shooting death of Stevann Moorer.
Zerrick Brown and Earl Patrick are scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Police believe that the men killed 60-year-old Carlton Coltrane when they robbed at a 7-Eleven shortly after midnight on May 6.
Howard Bruce Randolph is scheduled to be sentenced at 11:00 a.m. before Judge Russell Canan. He pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the fist fight that led to Rayshawn Hailstock’s death.
James Brown is scheduled to be sentenced at 11:00 a.m. before Judge Robert Morin. He pleaded guilty in May to one count of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of carrying a rifle in connection with the shooting death of Darnell Rivers.
Stephanie Lawson is scheduled for an after sentencing hearing before Russell Canan. Lawson is expected to turn herself to the beginning of her sentence in connection to the stabbing death of Karen Jordan.
