On Monday,
The trial of Joseph Peoples and Bernard Fleming continues before Judge Robert Morin. In opening statements, prosecutors argued that Fleming and Peoples ambushed and shot at the Jones brothers, killing Michael Edward Jones.
Leon Allen Smith is scheduled for a status hearing at 1:00 p.m. before Judge John Ramsay Johnson. In May, Smith pleaded guilty to stabbing Stephan Pool to death on September 2, 2012.
On Wednesday,
Mauda’Rico Proctor is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Robert Morin. Proctor faces nine criminal charges, including two for first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Dominic Davis.
On Thursday,
Corey Saxton is set to be sentenced by Judge John Ramsey Johnson at 12 p.m. Saxton pleaded guilty in May to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Roshaine Henry.
Lillian Alvarado is scheduled for a mental observation hearing before Judge John Ramsey Johnson at 10:30 a.m. Alvarado was found competent in May to stand trial for the death of her newborn son.
On Friday,
Allen Thomas is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. Thomas is suspected of second-degree murder in the stabbing death of Elike Rahmon Richardson.
Anthony Williams is scheduled for a felony status conference at 10:00 a.m. before Judge Jennifer Anderson. He is suspected in the shooting death of James Edward Booker.
DeAndre Shaheed, Floyd Neal, and Lafeyette Robinson are scheduled for a trial readiness hearing at 12:00 p.m. before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Police believe the men set out to rob someone on the evening of March 14 when they saw Akinwole Olu Williams walking to his home in the 1000 block of 44th Street Northeast.
James Johnson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 10:30 a.m. He is suspected of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Talbert Mitchell Bright.
Justin Wilson is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. He is suspected of first-degree murder in the death of Freddy Bernard Hawkins.
Linda Bury is scheduled to be sentenced before Judge Herbert Dixon. She pleaded guilty in May 2013 for her role in the death of Quadar Muhammad.
Todd Green is scheduled for a status hearing at 10:00 a.m. before Judge Robert Morin. He is suspected of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Timothy Delonte Dawkins.
