Dondre Keenen Dyer Killed in Friday Night D.C. Shooting

A shooting in the 3600 Block of Warder Street Northwest killed 23-year-old Dondre Keenen Dyer late Friday night, according to MPD.

Police officers responding to the sound of gunshots at approximately 10:52 p.m. found Dyer suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the intersection of Warder Street and Quebec Place Northwest. Jacobs was then transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide: 3600 Block of Warder Street, NW

(Washington DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 3600 block of Warder Street, NW.

On Friday, August 8, 2014, at approximately 10:52 pm, officers from the Fourth District responded to a report of sounds of gunshots in the 3600 block of Warder Street, NW. Upon their arrival, an adult male was located at the intersection of Warder Street and Quebec Place, NW, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The decedent’s remains were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending an autopsy.

The decedent has been identified as 23-year-old Dondre Keenen Dyer of Northwest, Washington, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
