An overnight shooting in Northeast D.C. killed 22-year-old Anthony Miller Jr, MPD reported Sunday.
Police found Miller in the 3100 block of Newton Street Northeast, near the Maryland border, at midnight Sunday after responding to a report of a shooting.

Homicide in the 3100 block of Newton Street, NE
( Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 3100 block of Newton Street, NE. On Sunday, September 7, 2014, at approximately 12:00 am, members from the Fifth District responded for the report of a shooting.
The victim 22-year-old Anthony Miller Jr. was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
