On Monday,
The trial of Demonta Chappell is scheduled to begin before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Chappell is charged with first-degree murder, obstruction of justice and three weapons charges in connection with the 2012 shooting death of Stevann Moorer.
Joshua Mebane is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Mebane is charged with 10 criminal counts, including first-degree murder while armed, in connection with the shooting death of D.C. taxi driver Quadar Muhammad.
Lamonte Perry is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Rhonda Winston. Perry went to trial for charges in connection with the 2012 shooting death of Andre Jackson. The jury convicted Perry of obstruction of justice but he was acquitted of premeditated first-degree murder, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence and carrying a pistol outside of the home or business. Judge Jennifer Anderson declared a mistrial after jurors were unable to agree on a verdict regarding the remaining charge of second-degree murder while armed.
On Wednesday,
Antonio Shaw is scheduled to be arraigned before Judge Lynn Leibovitz for a charge of assault with intent to kill while armed. His trial for the murder of Ernest Hart is set for 2015.
Raymond Faunteroy is scheduled for a status hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. The judge declared a mistrial after jurors were unable to agree on a verdict in his murder trial for the shooting death of Derrick Ragland.
On Thursday,
Tisheena Brown is scheduled to be sentenced before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. She pleaded guilty in May to one count of voluntary manslaughter in connection to the overdose death of her seven-week-old son Hakeem Brown.
Tyrone Height and James Young are scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 10:30 a.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. They are suspected of first-degree felony murder while armed in connection with the shooting death of Willard Carlos Shelton.
On Friday,
The sentencing of Brandon Miller is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Miller was charged with premeditated first-degree murder while armed in connection with the shooting death of Jamal Coates. He has since plead guilty, but the specific charges of the plea are not known.
Daquan Tinker is scheduled for a status hearing at 2:15 p.m. before Judge Robert Morin. He is charged with first-degree murder, felony murder, armed robbery, and six related charges in connection with the shooting death of Terrence Robinson.
Gary Montgomery is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing at 12:00 p.m. before Judge Robert Morin. He is charged with first-degree murder while armed in connection with the stabbing death of Deoni Jones.
James Brewer is scheduled for a status hearing at 2:00 p.m. before Judge Herbert Dixon Jr. In November 2013, Brewer and Stephen Page, pleaded guilty to killing 71-year-old Vietnam veteran Solomon Reese during the course of a robbery.
James Johnson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 10:30 a.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. He is suspected of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Talbert Bright.
Lawrence Wilkerson is scheduled for a felony status conference at 11:00 a.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. He is suspected in the death of Rhett Gelb.
Manuel Antonio Garcia is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 10:00 a.m. before Judge Rhonda Reid-Winston. He is charged with second-degree murder while armed in connection with the shooting death of Luis Melendez.
Tracy Mathis is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Russell Canan. He is charged with second-degree murder while armed in connection with the stabbing death of India Chapple.
