A man fatally stabbed in D.C. Tuesday evening has been identified as 38-year-old Edward Eugene Hall Jr. of Southwest.
Police found Hall on September 9 at the intersection of 1st and Brandywine Streets Southeast; emergency medical services transported him to a local hospital.
On Wednesday, Hall succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

Homicide: 1st and Brandywine Street, Southeast
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred at the intersection of 1st and Brandywine Street, Southeast.
On Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at approximately 11:07 pm, members from the Seventh District responded to a report of a stabbing at the intersection of 1st and Brandywine Streets, Southeast. DC Fire and Medical Emergency Services personnel transported the victim to a local hospital where he was admitted in critical condition.
On Wednesday, September 10, 2014, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 38 year-old Edward Eugene Hall Jr, of Southwest, Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
