A 33-year-old Northeast D.C. man has been arrested in connection with the September shooting death of 27-year-old Deandria Conyers.
The man, identified by police as Raheem Jones, is suspected of second-degree murder while armed.
Conyers was found shot in a residence in the 2000 block of Ridgecrest Court Southeast on September 14.

Arrest Made in Homicide: 2000 Block of Ridgecrest Court, Southeast
(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in the shooting death of 27-year-old Deandria Conyers of Southeast, DC, who was found on Sunday, September 14, 2014, at approximately 8:48 pm, suffering from a gunshot wound in the 2000 block of Ridgecrest Court, Southeast.
On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at approximately 3:30 pm, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 33-year-old Raheem Jones of Northeast, DC, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Murder Two while Armed in the shooting death of Deandria Conyers.
