A man fatally shot in D.C. Wednesday afternoon has been identified as 18-year-old Johnie Lee Resper of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Police found Resper at approximately 3:04 p.m. in the 200 block of Adams Street Northeast suffering from gunshot wounds. The Washington Post reports that police are searching for a small, black, four-door vehicle in connection with Resper’s death.

Homicide: 3rd and Adams Streets, Northeast
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred near the intersection of 3rd and Adams Streets, NE.
On Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at approximately 3:04 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to a call for shooting. Upon arrival, they located the victim, 18-year-old Johnie Lee Resper of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, in the 200 block of Adams Street, NE suffering from gunshot wounds.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
