On Tuesday,
Raheem Jones is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Jennifer Anderson. He is suspected in the death of Deandria Monique Conyers.
On Wednesday,
Francis Lyles is scheduled for a felony status conference and ascertainment of counsel before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Lyles, who is accused of killing her 3-year-old son Xavier, was expected to plead guilty last week but instead recanted and requested a new attorney.
On Thursday,
Marquette Tibbs is scheduled to be sentenced before Judge Rhonda Reid Winston. In September, Tibbs pleaded guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter while armed in connection to the shooting death of Andre Jackson on Nov. 4, 2012.
On Friday,
Andre Hockaday is scheduled for a felony status conference at 11:45 a.m. before Judge Rhonda Reid Winston. Hockaday is charged with first-degree murder while armed in connection with the 2012 shooting death of Ronald Deacon Smith.
Andre Miles is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing at 12:30 p.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. Miles is charged with first-degree murder while armed, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence and carrying a pistol without a license outside a home or place of business in connection with the shooting death of Sandy Greene III.
Anthony Campbell, Jermaine Livingston and Phillip Glover are scheduled for a status hearing at 3:30 p.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. The three men are indicted on charges in connection with the death of Antwain Henderson. Campbell is charged with first-degree murder, tampering with evidence and other related weapons charges. Livingston and Glover are both charged with accessory after the fact and tampering with physical evidence.
Carlton Maurice Johnson is scheduled for arraignment and a felony status conference before Judge Jennifer Anderson. Johnson is suspected of killing Anthony Chase and Eric Leeper.
Daquan Tinker is scheduled for a status hearing at 10:30 a.m. before Judge Robert Morin. Judge Robert Morin declared a mistrial in the case against Tinker Thursday, after a jury cleared him of two charges and convicted him of one, but deadlocked on remaining charges, including second-degree murder for the shooting death of Terrence Robinson.
David Shepherd is scheduled to be sentenced at 12:00 p.m. before Judge Russell Canan. A jury found him guilty of first-degree murder in July for the 2012 shooting death of Henry Charles Miller.
Dominique Holmes is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Holmes is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Ricky Kelly.
Gregory Smithwick, Holmes’ co-defendant, is scheduled for a felony status conference before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. He is charged with armed carjacking, also in connection with the death of Kelly.
James Brewer is scheduled for a status hearing at 2:00 p.m. before Judge Herbert Dixon. In 2013, he pleaded guilty to killing 71-year-old Vietnam Veteran Solomon Reese. In January, a judge sentenced him to 27 years and 8 months in prison.
Melvin George is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Lynn Leibovitz. Melvin, who was arrested in September on suspicion of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Jeffrey Coleman, was released under high-intensity supervision.
Terry Jimenez is scheduled for a status hearing at 11:00 a.m. before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. Jimenez pleaded guilty to first-degree murder while armed, assault with intent to kill and aggravated assault knowingly while armed in 2013 after he engaged in a shootout that resulted in the death of Robert Foster, Jr. Since then, he entered into a collaboration agreement with the government and testified against Deangelo Williams in the Lucki Pannell murder trial.
Todd Green is scheduled for a trial readiness hearing at 10:00 a.m. before Judge Robert Morin. Green is charged with first-degree murder while armed after a shootout between himself and Darious Scales resulted in the death of Timothy Delonte Dawkins in 2013. The two rivals are being charged under urban warfare theory and will be tried as co-defendants.
