MPD announced Tuesday that an 18-year-old Northwest D.C. man has been arrested in connection with the October 29 stabbing that killed Inoe Javier Salvador.
Edgar Blanco is suspected of first-degree murder, police say.
Salvador, 41, of Gaithersburg, Maryland was found with visible stab wounds in the 1400 Block of Perry Place, Northwest. He died at a local hospital.

Arrest Made in Homicide:1400 Block of Perry Place, Northwest
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in the homicide of 41-year-old Inoe Javier Salvador, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, which occurred on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in the 1400 block of Perry Place, Northwest.
On Tuesday, November 11, 2014, detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch arrested 18 year-old Edgar Blanco of Northwest Washington, DC charging him with First Degree Murder in the stabbing death of Inoe Javier Salvador.
