Father of Infant Raj’saun Tyrik Brown Arrested for Murder

Tyrik Lamont Brown has been arrested for the death of one-month-old Raj’saun Tyrik Brown, who died of multiple blunt force injuries two weeks ago, according to MPD.

Tyrik Lamont Brown, 19, is the child’s father, WUSA reports. He is suspected of first degree felony murder, police say.

The infant was unconscious when police found him the morning of October 29. He died after being taken to a hospital.

The Washington Post adds:

Little about the infant could be learned. No one was home on two visits to the apartment in Southeast Washington where the incident occurred. At another address listed by the father, about a mile away, a woman who identified herself as the father’s grandmother said she had never seen the infant and declined to comment further.
