On Monday,
The trial of Andre Miles for shooting death of Sandy Green III continues before Judge John Ramsey Johnson. In opening arguments, a prosecutor asserted that an argument over girlfriends and shared living space led Miles to shoot Greene in April 2012.
Kevin Walker’s trial for the deaths of Jamahl and Jamie Jenkins continues in Judge Russell Canan’s courtroom.
Allen Culver is scheduled to begin his trial for the June 2013 death of Robert Plight before Judge Russell Canan.
Claire Rice is due to begin trial before Judge Rhonda Winston for the death of her cousin, Anthony Garland Rice, in what prosecutors allege was an effort to collect on a life insurance policy.
On Tuesday,
Keiva Hooks has a felony status conference before Judge Rhonda Winston. Hooks is accused of fatally stabbing her mother, Tajuana Lynn Hooks.
On Wednesday,
Andre Hockaday has a felony status conference before Judge Rhonda Winston. Hockaday is one of two men arrested in the death of Ronald Deacon Smith, who was a witness in another murder trial when he was fatally shot.
Frank Lee Blanding, accused of killing Benjamin Jennings, has a felony status conference before Judge Lynn Leibovitz.
